Naptime Thoughts

  • James has been sleeping for over 2 hours now, thank goodness! He officially has a stomach flu, and needs as much rest as he can get.
  • Rainbow Popcicles will stain your children, not buying those again.
  • It should just rain already and not tease me, I need the temperature to come down!
  • Verizon Rebates were received! Woot Woot!
  • Waiting for James to wake up so I can buy a new needle for my sewing machine. I broke one this morning.
  • A little dissapointed with the doctor appointment today, I thought I was going to have an Ultrasound and that he'd check for dilation. Instead only the heartbeat was heard, and my uterus is measuring 35 cm, with not much room left to grow. Next appointment is in two weeks, and I will for sure have an ultrasound, because I have an appointment specifically for it.
  • Oh and baby's head is down, thus all the pressure I'm feeling down there.
  • I miss my hubster, he comes home late friday night, then will be off to Phoenix again tuesday, but will be back thursday night. Then Madison the next week, followed by Denver the next....time please go faster!
  • James woke up again today calling "Dad?" Daaad?" Little man misses his daddy.

Week 34

My sister Caroline found my camera when I went back up to Idaho Falls. It was hiding in the living room couch cushions. It was probably James who hid it there, or my mom to make sure I came back soon.

Week 34 of this pregnancy has hit me like a slap in the face. I'm dying of heat all the time! Which makes for an Oh so pleasant wife for my poor husband. This baby wont stop wiggling around, and tonight I had contractions for an hour or so. This bun needs to stay in the oven for at least 26 more days, so Matt can be home. We're aiming for 30 though. We'll see what the doctor says on Wednesday.

Matt is catching up from the week he missed of training, and things seem to be going well. He has decided however that we will never move to Phoenix. I'm sure Madison Wisconsin in two weeks will be a welcome change for him. Also if anyone is interested in letting Matt give you an insurance quote, he could use the practice. Who knows, maybe he can even get you a better rate!

James has been having fun this summer. When at my parents house he loves to jump on the trampoline, and it getting pretty good at it. He also loves to throw pebbles into the canal behind their house. Thankfully he doesn't get too close, and hasn't figured out how to open the gate to go by himself. While at home, he's been enjoying a nightly wagon ride around the block, and likes to pick dandelions along the way. He's teething again, ugh. Hopefully these teeth pop through faster than the last ones. Meanwhile he's been chowing down on Popsicles, watching Rugrats, and adding more and more words to his vocabulary.

I'm hoping to take James to do some fun things in the next month before the baby comes. Something in either water or air conditioner would be nice!

Not quite sure where my camera is....

So the cute pictures I took of James recently will have to wait.

Today is Matt's 28th birthday! Happy Birthday to a wonderful husband and father! Tonight we'll celebrate with one of Matt's favorite meals, Lemon Butter Ribs and Mashed Potato Skins followed by Butter Pecan Cake with Chocolate Frosting and Aggie Ice Cream. Yuuum!

The dieting will begin tomorrow...well at least for Matt, I have doctors orders to gain more weight. (I'm still -1lb from my first appointment.)
To start Matt's birthday we went to my doctor appointment, jealous aren't you? Thing 2's heartbeat is great and he's measuring just right. In two weeks we'll do an ultrasound to see how big he really is. If he's looking good then we'll aim for July 26th or 27th! Yep, a few days after Matt gets home from Denver!
I'm so ready to meet this little man and hold him in my arms, maybe then I will finally feel like this isnt a dream I'm about to wake up from. Even at 32 weeks, I'm still worried/scared. Maybe thats why I cant even narrow down any names. I better start working on it though since (hopefully) I only have 7 weeks to go :)

In all other Morrissey news, James is repeating more and more words, so we have to be more careful with what we say. The funniest thing he said was while watching "So you think you can Dance?" at my parents house. The lady who created the Pussy Cat Dolls was saying how a certain dance routine was "Sexy! Sexy Sexy! Sex....Y! SEX SEX SEX!!!"
Yep...then he said it....
"Sex! Sex! Sex!"

I wont lie though, my mom and I laughed pretty hard.
So much for a family show lol.
