16 Weeks

Since finding out I was pregnant

I've lost 10 lbs.

So the only pants that will stay on

are pants I haven't fit into since last year.

So today I bought my first pair of skinny jeans

maternity skinny jeans of course

Oh my goodness I have missed out

for the past 5 years I have steered clear of skinny jeans

mostly because I thought they looked awful on me

these....

these are winners.

I also bought 2 shirts buy one get one free

(Motherhood is having a great sale until monday)

Pretty good way to start off the maternity shopping this time around

I'd show you pictures of the baby bump....

but that means I'd have to take a picture....

so it looks like this...

Yep thats me in my PJs from when I was prego with James

Anywho

Mornings sickness is leaving

I only have to throw up once a week now

Sleep is difficult, has been for a while

starting to feel a little movement in there

I wish march would hurry up

I want to find out so bad if Thing 2 is a he or she

For now, I just get to wait

and eat the wonderful cotton candy my husband just brought home for me

mmmmm i love him

and i love cotton candy

Check these out

As I was browsing for a St. Patrick's Day menu

I came across these from Martha Stewart

Aren't they cute?

If you're coming over for dinner that night

so far we're having green peppers and ranch dip

Matt and I have decided we dont really care for

Corned Beef

So salty

Maybe we'll do a brisket still...

but skip the brine.

Valentine's Day

Saint Valentine was a Priest, martyred in 269 in Rome . He is the Patron Saint of affianced couples, bee keepers, engaged couples, epilepsy, fainting, greetings, happy marriages, love, lovers, plague, travelers, young people. He is represented in pictures with birds and roses.

I love my husband so so so much.
The past few months I've had no energy to do anything around the house, then last week I was starting to feel better and James started to get sick, so instead of catching up on house work, I've spent my time with the little man.
We kept it simple for Valentines Day since we celebrated last weekend, but Matt still went out to get me Maple Bars, Chocolate milk and beautiful flowers. Then after a busy day of meetings, taking James to the doctor, and other errands Matt took an hour or two out of his homework time to clean the house. Since I'll be spending the next few days forcing medicine down James' throat, trying to get him to eat, and
cuddling with my little sicky, a clean house takes a lot off my mind and
means more than if Matt had bought me new shoes. (I love new shoes)
Thanks Babe, you're amazing.

So aside from James having a double ear infection and upper respiratory congestion, Valentines Day was pretty great. Nice and simple.

My sicky boy, looking much better than yesterday.
