Updates on the Morrissey's

James loves to Jump, and has discovered his bed as a substitute trampoline.

He also loves to dance and ever since his dance parties with my sister last time we were up there, he has impromptu dance parties every time he hears music. He begins to dance then pulls Matt and I away from whatever we were doing so we can dance as well. I would have a video...but James insists that I dance instead.

He has memorized Toy Story and one of our Veggie Tales movies in his own language and "repeats" every word with the dialog.

We're looking forward to warmer weather so we can go outside. James has missed feeding the ducks and says "Quack Quack Quack" when we do see an occasional duck.
Then again...every animal either says "Ruff Ruff" or "Quack Quack" according to James.

Can you believe James will be 2 on Friday?! Where has the time gone?

My pregnancy is going well, I haven't felt sick in a while and the little man loves to kick me all night long. The kicks get stronger and more frequent everyday. This one also prefers me to sit on my bum all day long, as soon as I get up and going he decides to nestle himself as low and as uncomfortably as he possibly can. So you can imagine having a very active toddler to chase around I get to feel that feeling often.

Matt still keeps busy with school and is set to walk May 6th! I have to figure out protocol for graduation...what am I supposed to do? What things do I need to plan that day? I know there's no set tickets so I'm pretty sure anyone can show up who wants to...I don't know. I have to figure all of that out. As far as the future...we've played through so many possibilities the last few months its exhausting! Matt has a job possibly lined up...we're just playing the waiting game. We're hoping he gets it, it's probably the best for us as a family, so keep your fingers crossed and prayers said that everything works out so I can tell you what job it might be lol.

Ultrasound Video...lets hope they work

Week 20....are you ready?!

I still haven't gained any weight

in fact

I threw up twice this morning

Hopefully for the last time

its time to fatten this child up

Today I went in for THE ULTRASOUND

No Placenta Previa....Thank Heaven!

Our little one is measuring right on time for August 5th

I wish I had some good pictures to show

but I'm afraid you'd only see the back of Thing 2's head

They were lying on their belly

with their face down in my uterine wall

I've got a video...

but cannot for the life of me get it on here

So I bet you're dying and ready for me to tell you

is Thing 2 a

BOY?

or a

Girl?

Drumroll please..........

Matt left for England last friday morning, he's been way busy, that combined with the time difference (7 hours) is making for one tired hubster. We've been able to skype mostly everyday which has been nice, he's been borrowing computers from other people in his group who made the splurge for internet. Everything is so expensive there! He took $200 with him and changed it to pounds when he arrived....only got back 115 pounds. Then his first meal he bought a panini (very English, I know) ....9 pounds! The internet was 10 pounds a day at his first hotel in Manchester, so who knows how much it is in London and if I'll be able to talk to him before he comes home.

I am anxious for Monday night to get here, being away from each other for 10 days is hard enough, not to mention 4,000 + miles.

Anyway, James and I have been hanging out at my parents house.
James has been showing off, playing kamikaze, jumping off furniture, climbing on counters, and tackling the dogs. He and Mady had a dance party last night, I went down to watch and he ran up to grab my hand so I could dance too. I'll have to get pictures if they dance again tonight.

Yesterday I had to run some errands sans James, but he had a grand ol' time with my mom and sisters playing with Photo Booth. They made a couple of videos but this one makes me laugh so hard I nearly cried. So watch and enjoy :)

PS
Wednesday is the day we find out if Thing 2 is a he or she....any guesses?

Week 18

Thing 2

Did I say morning sickness was leaving?

Well it decided to make a visit today and kick my trash.

I've lost another 2 lbs....I have no idea how since I've been eating more.

I looked down yesterday and let out a gasp

"When did this happen?!"

My stomach is getting HUGE

I've been able to feel more and more movement everyday from Thing 2

Just like James, Thing 2 only moves around when I'm lying down....for now

Hopefully in 2 weeks this little one will be still long enough to get a peek at their he or she parts

Matt keeps saying he hopes it isn't a girl because I will go crazy shopping

Cute little dresses, fabric for quilts and car seat covers

But....we're pretty sure Thing 2 is a She

Hoping, for the sake of convenience its a He

James

James got over his ear infection

But thew up Friday, and Sunday

Last night and today he had the runs

No fever thank goodness

and HOPEFULLY no more diarrhea today

or its off to the doctors again in the morning

(Also it will mean his illness was short, which means I'll get over mine by tomorrow as well)

We've been watching movies, reading books and playing with trains and cars lately

Toy story 1 & 3 are our usuals and James has them nearly memorized

Peter Pan has joined the list

James gets scared of the part where Smee is shaving Captain Hook's face

but he loves to sing to Following the Leader

"Tee dum, tee dee...."

Matt

Matt is working hard in school

Applying for jobs for after

and leaves for the UK on Friday

He'll be gone 10 days

visiting businesses

attending a West End show

and all that other fun stuff you can do in England

so jealous.

Hopefully he'll be able to take lots of pictures

So I've got two things to look forward to

Matt's safe return (and goodies he will bring) from England

and our next ultra-sound!
