Thanks

As it is Thanksgiving Eve, James is taking a late nap, and Matt is at the USU v. Utah Basketball game, I thought it was time I wrote my thanks.

First, I'm grateful for my parents. They taught me wrong from right, how to be independent, and responsible. They were the first to love me, and will always be there for me no matter what. They instilled a love for the gospel in my heart, and a love for mankind. We've had our rough patches for sure, but I will always love them. I am so grateful for everything they've done for me. I know I don't say it enough, but that's because I'm a cry baby and my mascara would run ;-) Mom and Dad, I love you both so much. Thanks

Next my siblings, Ben, Zac, Mady, Will, and Caroline. You guys are the best and I'm so proud of all of you. You guys makes me laugh, cry, and sometimes swear and kick you. (lol Zac, glad we can laugh about that now) I love visiting will you all and learning about your different lives. Sometimes I may boss, correct or reprimand you, but I do it because I care, and I want the best for you. Thank you for all the memories, and for watching James so I can have a breather. I love you call so very much.

My husband, Matt. I freaking love you! You are the best, and work so hard for our little family. You make me laugh, and make me feel like I'm the most important person in the world.  I'm so proud of you and all you've accomplished. Thank you for all you do, undergrad and graduate degrees in 4 years,  late night ice cream and tampon runs, getting up with James in the middle of the night, turning off the lights because I'm still afraid of  whats in the dark, buying Phantom of the Opera for me even though you hate it, letting me put my ice cold toes on your warm feet so mine will warm up, being a trooper when you really dont want to, laughing and crying with me as we watch toy story 3 for the bazillionth time, and so much more.  It's been a great 4 years and I look forward to our many many years to come. Again, I freaking love you!

James. My little buddy. You have changed my life so much and I love you more every minute. You make me smile when I'm feeling down. I wish you would stay my little boy forever. You've taught me patience better than anyone else possibly could. That includes your father lol. I hope you'll always know that I'll love you, no matter what.

Next I'd like to thank my in-laws, you guys are great! Mike, Marcia, Rachel, Mike, Shawna, Sean, Niki, Katie, and Tim..I love you all so very much. You are all such great examples in my life and I'm glad you've welcomed me into your family. Thank you for all you've done for us.

The Eddy's...you guys are one crazy bunch and I'm excited to spend time with most of you tomorrow. Grandma and Grandpa, you two are awesome. Love you! I've always felt your love and concern for me and I really appreciate it. To all my uncles and aunts, I love you all so much.  A special thanks to Uncle Greg, the Eddy's would not be the same without you. I know I can always depend on you. You and Allyson have been a great influence in my life and I love you both very much. And to all my cousins, their spouses and their children, Brandon, Lisa, Ryker, Katie, Paul, Nora, Kayl, Courtney, Christopher, Max, Spencer, Brooke, Eria, Kimberly, Elijah, Kira, Justin, Marissa, Jesse,Cory, Emily, Candace, Camilla, Morgan, Tyler, Scott, Matt, Sam, Tanner, Brittany, and Megan (Hope I got you all!) I love you all!

The McDermott's... I miss you all so much! It was good to see most of you in August, and hopefully we can visit soon. To my Grandparents, I love you both Oceans and Oceans. You both are great examples to me. To my Aunts, each of you have been there for me in one way or another. You hold a special place in my heart. To my cousin's Cameron, Ashley, Aiden, Conner, Blair, McKenna, Cole, Grant, Abbie, Rachel, Wyatt and Trent. Some of you I grew up with and we formed great friendships and memories, the rest of you don't know me very well but I love each of you.

To my friends. Each of you have influenced my life in different ways.
Paige, you were there in the beginning. Back when we were little girls who prayed for our dead grandparents dogs to have puppies so we could play with puppies down here, then ended up finding at cat....lol. Doll club, Sailor Moon, me wanting to stay inside and play dress up, and you wanting to go play in the yard with slobbery Borus. We 've known each other since we were two, we may not be as close as we used to be, but I will always be grateful for our friendship, and will always be there when you need a friend.

Jalissa, you helped me become the person I am today. No other person in the world laughs about the things we laugh about.  You are the one girl I can tell anything to, and you'll never judge me. That's what I've always loved about you. I miss you seester, and I hope when you come home we can spend more time with each other. Yes we act like we're 16 when we're together, but that's why its so fun :-) Love you girl!
Jess, you kept me sane at Olive Garden lol.I miss our conversations. We need to get together for lunch, seriously. Its been foreeeeever!
Dani, I just think you're awesome. You've been there to talk about some serious stuff, and helped me feel better having someone to talk to.  When you come back to visit Logan, let me know, and we'll go out.

Finally I need to thank my Savior, Jesus Christ. There was a time I was lost, and He helped me though. He is my ultimate example. When I do as He would do, I am a happier person, and a better wife and mother. I know He lives, and though Him we are saved. I know the blessing's I receive in my life are from Him. I am so grateful that I was raised in His gospel, and I know that one day I can return to Him and my Heavenly Father. I know though Christ and His temples families can be together forever. I love my Savior and hope to always feel His love.

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays, and the perfect prelude to Christmas. I am thankful for all I have, and thankful to all those in my life. Love you all, have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!

Tooosday

I did not want to get out of bed today.
James has been sleeping in until around 10 or 11am the last few days, and today I thought, sleeping in would be so nice.
But tuesdays mean institute and I knew I needed a little spiritual uplift today. So I got up.
As I was getting ready to go I put on Toy Story 3 for James, his new favorite movie that we watch at least once a day and I have nearly memoized. I knew it would be an emotional day day when I began to tear up as Woody, Jessie, Buzz and the rest of the gang held hands  as they awaited their fiery end. I'd been in a funk the last few days, and today all of the built up emotions were going to come out.

Lucky for my husband he's in school 12 hours today.

So I regained my composure and we left for institute. Today we disscussed two of President Monson's talks, the first "Charity Never Faileth" one of my new favorites, and "The Divine Gift of Gratitude". As I shared a thought in class I started to bawl, which I dont think I've done in a looong time. Maybe on day I'll share that thought on here, but today I just couldn't get it out right a second time. So besides me crying. institute was great.

After class, I couldn't find my keys, but then I found them and all was well.

Next we went to the bank drive up window and it was so windy two of my checks flew right out of my hands! So I quickly got out of the car to chase them down, and thankfully the ground was wet from our rain/hail/snow stormy weather this morning that the checks didnt make it all the way to the mall. Another disaster avoided.

The rest of my errands were mostly uneventful which is good. I dont know if I could handle any more excitment for the day.

Now I will post pictures etc so you wont leave being entirely bored

Here is James dipping Chocolate Chip Cookies into milk, it keep him busy while I work on my sewing projects

Speaking of which, here is one, a cord wrapper thingy as I like to call it
I'll post my other projects later

James making horse noises

We've got a horse pasture behind our carport and James love to watch the horses. Here's a video of him making "horse noises".
Enjoy!

Goodbye October Hello November

We've been keeping busy at the Morrissey house,
enjoying the beautiful Logan fall weather and scenery, keeping up with school, jobs,
and enjoying every little moment with our little guy.

At the begining of the month I had my sister take family pictures which turned out pretty great, plus you cant beat $free.99

Thanks Mady!

We had a hail storm one day, James was fascinated by it and just sat at the sliding glass door watching

James played Peek-A-Boo with the curtains

and always tries to get into my seat instead of his car seat.

He had lots of fun at his cousin Ivy's 1st birthday party
(pictures to come, having issues at the moment)

and wasn't so sure about the gunk from carving pumpkins.
We carved little red riding hood and the big bad wolf, but they both broke in the night :(

We dressed up as Little Red Riding Hood, the Big Bad Wolf and the Woodsman

Looking forward to a great November, keep an eye out for the projects I'm working on.
