Random Pictures and such

Last weekend we went up down to my cousin Marrissa's wedding in the LDS Bountiful Temple, it was a beautiful ceramony and I couldn't be happier for her and Jesse. After the luncheon, we drove up to Idaho Falls to spend time with out families. Sunday we celebrated our neice Eve's 3rd Birthday.

One day I will figure out how to put these pictures up in order, it might be easier if I didnt have a little boy tugging on me ALL THE TIME! >laugh out loud<
Anywho, I bought this nasty looking wing chair at the DI, and found a slip cover for it at Overstock, now it's comfy and looks good! One day I'll make a pillow for it, to brighten it up!

Here are a few pictures of James, here he is in the closet, one of his favorite places
Crawling around, yep still crawling, wont walk, he's a stubborn little guy
Waiting for Daddy at the Doctors office

OK, now something funny. Well at least it is to me. I needed to go out to my car to get something and when I opened the door, it was snowing! So I had to put James in his "Bear Suit". When we came back inside I kept his suit on him. The suit folds over his hands and feet to keep him nice and toasty, so he didn't have the use of his hands. He loves loves loves to put the earphones to the ipod in his mouth. So when he attempted to do so, he discovered it's hard to pick them up without fingers. So...he used his mouth! LAUGH OUT LOUD!
I was laughing so hard! I took a video of it, but I need to load it first so it will be here soon

Slowly turning my house into a home

As I was blog surfing, I came across this cute idea from Craft Envy, to make letters out of cardboard and cover them with scrapbooking paper. So here's what I've done!
Yes my pictures aren't very straight,  and the lighting sucks, but I'm so proud of myself and my wall's cuteness!

Phone Calls Un-returned, Electric Bills, and My Baby Boy!

I dont know where to start....
Not a whole lot has gone on, but at the same time yes. I'll start with Old Farm, yep that sounds good. Here it goes...eh hem
A while back, Matt talked to a guy from one of his classes who told us about an amazing job opportunity. He was the current manager of Old Farm student housing here in Logan. Basically, he collects rent, unclogs some toilets and other things here and there, and in return he lives in a three bedroom apartment for FREE. PLUS!! He gets paid monthly a pretty good amount. Well this guy, told Matt that he would be leaving this job in March, so Old Farm was looking for a replacement, and to apply the first of the year. So after getting our resumes updated, writing a cover letter, (I loathe writing cover letters) and gathering letters of recommendation, we sent our application in. Well basically we've never heard back, after calling, texting, nothing. Sooo basically my hopes and dreams of getting a little bit ahead in life were crushed.
Soon to be followed by an electric bill that cost us an arm and a leg. The electric bill was redonkulous, so I investigated, thinking maybe someone was using our electricty since it happened to skyrocket when my new neighbor moved in. Even the meter guy thought I might be right, but after futher investigation, and turning off my power for half a day to see if it effected my neighbors...well I was wrong. It turns out its our stupid electric heaters. So I have disabled them and now rely on my wood burning stove for heat. I feel a bit like a pioneer, constantly fueling the stove to maintain warmth, but our house is surprisingly toasty and smells all cabin-y. Thank goodness for Matts friends Luke and Taylor who have access to free wood! Aaand I just checked my bill and its $100 less than last time. YAY! That even included some heater time in there, so it will be nice to see how low it goes next bill.
There will probably be some "PLAN" changes in the next couple months, one of which will be huge, but until it's finalized, you'll just have to wonder. NO, I'm not pregnant. I've got my hands full enough with James, who has a new found love of the stairs. If he could play on the stairs, bathe, and drink his Dad's coke all day, everyday, he'd be the happiest kid alive. He's grown up so much! He's 10 months old now and I can't believe it! He's started to talk a lot more ,in his own language of course and says "Daddy", "Mama","ball" and "NO". He only says "no" though, when I'm changing his diaper and I'm pinning him down to get a clean one on him. He loves to wait for me to take the dirty one off, then roll over and crawl away as fast as he can giggling. He likes to give big slobbery kisses and is starting kinda walk. I'm sure he could do it if he wanted to, but for now he holds on to things as he walks around the room. Oh yeah, he also likes to dive off the couch. I dont know why, he's just a wild child. So here's pictures of my pride and joy, yes I know he's just about the cutest things you've ever seen, but feel free to tell me anyway lol!
